Introducing our professions is the best way to enhance understanding of the river transport mode.
We were delighted to share our professions with representatives from the Hankook France team.
Hankook France is committed to decarbonizing their transportation and utilizing river transport with the support of their partner Geodis Freight Forwarding. The company received the Green Shipper trophy from MedlinkPorts at the last SITL.
We offered them a visit to Lyon Terminal, followed by an exploration of river transport aboard the Poséidon (a river self-propelled vessel chartered by Sogestran Logistics via Agora) for 6 hours, between Lyon and Salaise-sur-Sanne.
Experiencing the rhythm and landscapes of navigation, visiting the engine room, and interacting with the crew: an immersion of a few hours to better know and understand this mode of transport, thereby fostering better communication in the future.
